From our office on Baylis Street, we look after Wagga families — people building their super, planning the move into retirement, and working out what to do when an inheritance or a house sale changes the picture.
Our advisers live here, and you sit down with the same one every time, in person. Most of the people we see were referred by someone we already look after, which is a fair reflection of how we prefer to work.
Retirement planning, superannuation, estate planning, insurance and cash flow advice.
Managed portfolios across Focus, Prosperity and Executive Series, run by our in-house team.
Tax returns, business structuring, bookkeeping, SMSF accounting and audit.
Home loans, refinancing, and business lending arranged through our credit team.
Wagga is a city in its own right, and our client base looks like the city rather than the farmland around it. Most of the people we work with are everyday working families, couples in their fifties and sixties planning the last stretch of their working life, retirees making their savings last, and, increasingly, their adult children getting their super and savings sorted early.
We're on the first floor at 161–169 Baylis Street, in the middle of town, so it's easy to call in. What clients tell us they value is sitting across the table from the same adviser year after year, someone who remembers the last conversation and lives in the same town. That isn't something a call centre or a video meeting replicates.

Wagga Wagga is the Riverina's main regional centre, and it has the full spread of a city: professionals, tradespeople, public sector workers, small business owners, retirees, and families at every stage. Our office sits in the centre of town, and our clients come from right across it. The farmland surrounding Wagga shapes the region's economy, but it doesn't define who walks through our door.
The bulk of our work is with working families, the people the industry tends to call “mum and dad” clients, which rather undersells how much planning their situations take. A typical client is in their fifties or sixties, has super in one or two funds, a mortgage that's nearly paid off, and a fairly specific question: can I afford to stop working, and when?
A large share of our current work is the retirement transition and everything that arrives alongside it. Many of our long-standing clients are retiring at the same time, and a good number are also dealing with the death of a parent and the inheritance that follows. Those two things landing together a new retirement income stream and a lump sum that needs to be invested sensibly is probably the single most common situation we handle. Downsizing sits close behind: plenty of people don't realise that selling a long-held family home can open the door to a downsizer contribution into super.
We also work across generations of the same family. It's common for us to advise a client, then their adult children, and sometimes a parent whose affairs are being managed under power of attorney. Often that starts with a conversation that isn't a formal engagement at all, simply helping someone in their thirties or forties get pointed in the right direction, so that the decisions they make now still make sense in twenty years.
Many of our clients come from a referral from someone we already look after. In a city this size, reputation travels, and we'd rather earn an introduction than advertise for one. Campbell Knox has worked in financial services for more than 40 years and is well known locally; a good part of our week is people coming in because someone they trust told them to.
